This morning Derek's Very best friend was killed in a car crash. He fell asleep at the wheel while returning to school from vacation in Florida. We will all miss him very much He was SUCH a great guy. Please include Derek and Landon's family in your prayers.

Thanksgiving!

thanksgiving started off with fun as the elders helped us prepare for our meal. don't they look great in our aprons????

The great feast!

after the dinner we went on a fun little walk to help our digestive systems get running. it turned into kinda a photoshoot hahahaha i know, i'm sneaky.

we had fun but....

we passed by the davis' sold house................sad day...

after the walk the Hansens came over for pie!

and the kids all squished into the car to a fun game time at the hansens

the next morning we went to our grandma's house to help prune some trees when katrina and phillip spotted some ripe persimmons!

even though they were the mushy kind you ususally use for baking, apparently they were the kind that russians eat plain like apples! Katrina and phillip were used to the mushy kind.

so they sliced them up and ate them! fun fun fun

WOOOO now OFF to the turkey bowl woohoo!

Thanksgiving eve!

today is thanksgiving eve! and we are preparing...with lots of cooking lol and Katrina and Phillip decided to make tamales for us tonight! YUM! so they were making tamales while mom and jenae were making pies. haha let's hope they don't get mixed up ha

also..my dad decided to finish a project that was started a long time ago. making pinic tables for my back yard....he's still working! into the night....way to be dedicated boys! :)

I'll post a picture of the final product later...
also, mom made this cool little countdown to christmas at enrichment night last night.

wooohoo can't wait for the turkey bowl on saturday!

Halloween!

for our Ward Halloween party Jenae was Tinker Bell! i Was Pytor Ivanovitch BObchinsky from Nicolai Gogal's THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR haha because i didn't go to the party.. i was at rehearsal :(
On Halloween I was a doctor and jenae was a cowgirl. I didn't actually go trick-or treating i just hung out with breven and Nohemi

and We had a.... NERF GUN FIGHT!!!!! lol can you tell that my family likes these nerf guns? whenever we have anyone over its like almost second nature to whip these babies out i swear. hahaha. but sad day. i don't know why but every time i play with these i totally can't breath at all. lol oh well. still fun!

ok so.. I tried to make the Geico money...you know.. this little guy...But...it didn't really turn out :( and Breven messed the letters.
